My Role: Founder, Lead Developer & Maintainer

As the founder and lead of AcreetionOS, I architected, built, and currently maintain the entire project. This role is the culmination of over 16 years of systems engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments:

• Project Leadership: I manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Git, bug tracking, and release scheduling. I also lead all technical documentation efforts on the ReadTheDocs platform.
• Community Leadership & Mentorship: I act as a subject-matter expert and community educator, mentoring users in complex technical migrations and managing the project's community presence on Discord and XMPP.
• Full-Stack Infrastructure Management: I single-handedly designed, built, deployed, and maintain the project's entire production infrastructure. This includes the Jekyll-based website, Nginx servers, and custom package repositories mirrored by the Oregon State University Open Source Lab (OSUOSL).
• DevOps & CI/CD: I engineered and deployed a real-time system monitoring solution and migrated the entire CI/CD, source control, and package-building pipeline from a self-hosted GitLab instance to GitHub Actions.
• OS & Embedded Systems Development: I perform custom Linux kernel compilation, power optimization, and driver development. I have successfully ported AcreetionOS to 2018 Apple T2-based MacBooks and am leading an effort to port it to the ARM architecture.
• Software Development: I lead the development for the flagship Cinnamon edition, develop desktop applications using GTK and Electron, and maintain core system packages using Python and Bash.
